Sentrycs: Simple, Effective and Proven C-UAS Solutions
In recent years, the growing adoption of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), or drones, has transformed the modern landscape, bringing both positive innovations and serious threats. While drones play legitimate roles across a wide range of industries, they are also increasingly exploited for malicious purposes, like smuggling operations, unauthorized surveillance, airport disruptions, and even as weapons in conflict zones, where off-the-shelf devices can deliver lethal blows to soldiers on the battlefield. Governments and security organizations worldwide are racing to adapt to this innovation, as hostile drone activity becomes more frequent, unpredictable, and difficult to detect using traditional methods.
Conventional counter-UAS (C-UAS) systems that originated from defense requirements offer valuable and effective capabilities, yet show clear limitations, especially in sensitive civilian or homeland environments. Many technologies, such as jamming, spoofing, and kinetic interception, are either prohibited or heavily restricted, even though the core mission remains the same: preserving and protecting. However, the risks and operational requirements in civilian environments are fundamentally different, requiring a new approach.
Recognizing the need for safe, scalable, and regulation-compliant alternatives, Sentrycs offers a technologically innovative approach to drone defense.
Founded in 2017, Sentrycs is a global leader in counter-drone technology, delivering field-proven solutions that passively detect, track, identify, and, when necessary, safe cyber take over, all within a single sensor that fits in a single pelican case. With 110 employees worldwide, Sentrycs operates from offices in Israel, Europe the U.S. and Asia, supporting customers across public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure customers. Their scalable, easy-to-integrate solutions are deployed globally, trusted by security forces, governments, and enterprises to protect high-risk environments.

Cyber Over RF (CoRF) Technology
Sentrycs’ Cyber over RF solution is designed to:
- Accurately and passively detect, track, and identify unauthorized drones and their operators with zero false alarms
- Take control of unauthorized drones entering a no-fly zone
- Safely land them in designated areas
This is all done without any collateral damage or interference with authorized drones or other communications or navigation systems.
Unlike traditional C-UAS systems that may interfere with communications or broadly disrupt the RF environment, Sentrycs’ solution interacts directly with the drones’ communication protocol, the “language”between the drone and its controller, targeting specific vulnerabilities to detect, track, and assume control of the drone itself.
Advanced Operational Capabilities
- Friend or Foe Identification – automatic retrieval of drone serial numbers
- Large Area Protection – full 360-degree coverage from a single sensor and extending mitigation capabilities across a 10-kilometer diameter
- Sentrycs’ Horizon – AI-powered engine detecting transmitting DIY and drones with altered or previously unknown protocols in real time.
- Swarm Support – rapid succession mitigation and unlimited drone tracking
- No Interference with Authorized Drones – targets only specific drones using their own RF protocols, enabling safe operations in shared airspace.
- ISR Insights – rich data extraction for enhanced threat analysis
- Debrief and Analytics – in-depth event replay and valuable activity insights
- Ease of Integration – integrates effortlessly with C2 platforms and sensor networks, serving as a high-accuracy layer in multi-layered C-UAS systems
- Rapid Deployment & Scalability – available in versatile configurations — fixed, mobile, and tactical — allowing rapid deployment across diverse operational environments
