The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) will change its trading calendar and move to a Monday–Friday trading week, replacing the current Sunday–Thursday structure. The new schedule will take effect on Monday, January 5, 2026, and is designed to improve alignment with global financial markets and facilitate activity by foreign investors.

Under the new framework, full trading sessions will continue from Monday through Thursday, with market opening around 10:00 a.m. local time and closing in the afternoon, depending on the traded instrument. On Fridays, trading will take place in a shortened session, opening in the morning and closing early ahead of the Jewish Sabbath. No trading will take place on Sundays.

TASE offers international investors access to a broad range of financial instruments, including shares of leading Israeli public companies, government and corporate bonds, ETFs, derivatives, and flagship equity indices representing Israel’s economy. The transition to a globally aligned trading week is expected to enhance market liquidity and make participation in the Israeli capital market more convenient for international investors.
