Smart Shooter Secures $10.7 Million Follow-on U.S. Army Contract
Smart Shooter has announced it received a follow-on contract from the U.S. Army valued at approximately $10.7 million for its SMASH 2000LE fire control systems, along with related support services. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
The award, issued through PAE Defensive Fires and to be executed by Atlantic Diving Supply, represents an additional procurement that expands the deployment of SMASH systems across U.S. military units and reinforces the company’s growing presence within U.S. defense organizations. According to the company, SMASH is currently the only kinetic solution designed for individual soldiers to counter small drone threats.
The SMASH 2000LE, also known as SMASH 3000SA, is an advanced, lightweight, rifle-mounted fire control system. It features connectivity capabilities that enable integration with external sensors and battle management systems, and incorporates computer vision, artificial intelligence, and target tracking algorithms. The system allows operators to detect, track, and precisely engage aerial and ground targets, including small unmanned aerial systems, providing a combat-proven hard-kill capability.
The latest contract follows a series of recent awards from the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps, and other U.S. defense entities, reflecting continued adoption of SMASH systems across multiple branches.

Smart Shooter’s SMASH family of systems is currently deployed by defense and security forces in the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, Germany, and other NATO member countries.
