TSG Launches AI-Based Autonomous System for Counter-Drone and Counter-UAS Defense

TSG announced the launch of DroneWeaver System (DWS), a next-generation autonomous counter-drone and counter-UAS platform designed to enable defense and security organizations to detect, analyze, prioritize, and neutralize drone threats within seconds while significantly reducing operator workload.

The system is being introduced at the ILA Berlin Air Show 2026, one of Europe’s leading aerospace and defense exhibitions.

DroneWeaver builds upon TSG’s proven operational air command-and-control infrastructure, which has been deployed by defense organizations in Israel and around the world for years. Leveraging this established capability, the company developed a dedicated Counter-UAS layer that has successfully completed operational pilots with customers in the United States and Eastern Europe.

According to TSG, the platform automates approximately 90% of the threat detection and management cycle. It fuses data from multiple sensors, filters false alarms and duplicate detections, classifies threats, assesses risk levels, and recommends the most effective response option in real time.

As FPV drones, autonomous swarms, and other low-altitude aerial threats become increasingly sophisticated, affordable, and difficult to detect, DroneWeaver provides operators with a unified real-time air picture, enabling faster and more informed decision-making even in high-pressure operational environments.

The system is based on an open, vendor-agnostic architecture that enables rapid integration with a wide range of existing and future sensors and interception systems. DroneWeaver supports radars, RF detection systems, EO/IR cameras, ADS-B sensors, and additional detection sources, alongside a broad spectrum of soft-kill and hard-kill solutions, including electronic jamming, spoofing technologies, lasers, kinetic systems, and interceptors.

In addition, the platform intelligently matches each threat with the most appropriate countermeasure, helping operators reduce unnecessary use of expensive interception assets while improving overall operational efficiency.
